The Queen of Shoes

This afternoon while I was getting ready for a yard sale I am having tomorrow I was shocked by how many shoes Nellie had. 22 pairs!!! This doesn't count the ones she can still wear. She is only 19 months old!! She has more shoes than I do. I think she may be following in Aunt Lindsay's foot steps. For the record...I only bought 5 of the 22 pairs. The rest were given to her. :)

Chocolate Factory

Today the P.A.T group that I am involved with took a field trip to The Chocolate Factory. It was a really neat place to visit. Bill has an interest in making chocolate so he took the day off and went with us. It was a great family outing and the chocolates were delicious.

They have been making chocolates for 35 yrs.
The copper kettles where they make the fillings for their chocolates.
Yummy turtles!!!

Singing in the Rain

The other evening while we were having a nice little spring shower Nellie wanted to go outside. I decided to let her get it out of her system and let her outside. I thought she would run back inside but she loved it!! Oh to be a kid again!

Easter Activites

Easter is such a nice time of year. It is a great time of year together with family, have fun and celebrate Christ's ressurection. Saturday afternoon we went to my parents house. We had a nice dinner, rode the four wheeler (it's was tooo cold), and had a easter egg hunt for the little guys. I really enjoyed seeing my Aaron and Lindsay. I don't get to see them that often. Saturday evening we went to Bill's parents house, spent the night and went to church with them on Sunday. We had a nice service and there was a good spirit there. Margaret fixed a delicious meal and then hid eggs for Patrick and Nellie to find. What a great weekend. Here are some pictures.

Baby Dedication

Bill and I were talking the other night and realized we had never had Nellie dedicated. She is now 18 months old. :) Time just flies. So we are in the process of planning a baby dedication service. I was reading several poems about baby girls and found several sweet ones. I especially liked this one. Hope you enjoy.

Why God Made Little Girls
Submitted by: TonyaB
Author: Unknown
God made the world with its towering trees
Majestic mountains and restless seas
Then paused and said
"It needs one more thing
Someone to laugh and dance and sing
To walk in the woods and gather flowers
To commune with nature in quiet hours"
So God made little girls
With laughing eyes and bouncing curls
With joyful hearts and infectious smiles
Enchanting ways and feminine wiles,
And when He'd completed the task He'd begun
He was please and proud of the job He'd done
For the world, when seen through
a little girl's eyes
Greatly resembles Paradise

Triplets?

These are the two girls I babysit w/ Nellie. Every day I have to take Patrick to preschool at noon. It is quite a trip loading all the girls into their car seats. This sort of gives me an idea of how it would be if I had triplets. They range in age from 2 1/2 to 18 months.

S.S.Patrick

During the past two weeks in Patrick's music class they have been talking about boats. He had to make a boat (w/ lots of help from mom). :) They also read this cute book along with the lesson and then they each received a copy to bring home. He really enjoys his class. He has a great teacher who works really well with him.

We will miss you!!

Bill left this morning for California and won't be back until late Friday night. He was really dreading the trip and is going to miss the kids. He wanted me to try and post a picture of the kids everyday. :) We love you Bill!!!
